Our Story

From Frustration
to Platform

Orbital started in 2019 when a small team of engineers at a fast-growing startup got tired of juggling a dozen disconnected tools to understand what was happening in their codebase.

They wanted a single place to see code quality, track deploys, monitor user analytics, and keep the whole team aligned — without switching between GitHub, Datadog, Jira, and three dashboards. So they built it.

What started as an internal tool grew quickly. By 2021, Orbital was being used by hundreds of engineering teams. Today, over 50,000 developers across 3,000+ companies trust Orbital to help them ship better software, faster.
